Gareth Sampson has spent 25 years walking factory floors in China and building relationships that most UK businesses can't access. If you need a product branded, made, quality-tested, and shipped to the UK — we can source it. Catalogue or completely bespoke.
Gareth Sampson didn't build his China network by browsing catalogues or using sourcing platforms. He built it by travelling to factories across Yiwu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo, and beyond — meeting factory owners in person, understanding production capabilities firsthand, and coming back year after year.
That consistency — the same face, the same standards, the same expectation of quality — is what earns you the relationships that matter. When Gareth calls a factory, they pick up. When he needs a production slot held, it gets held. When he says a product needs to meet a spec, the factory knows he'll actually check.
For UK businesses, that means access to a level of manufacturer trust and responsiveness that simply cannot be bought on a platform or replicated through a first-time enquiry. It has to be earned. Gareth has earned it — and GPSUK's clients benefit from it on every bespoke order.
“If we can't source it, or we can't source it to the standard you need, we'll tell you straight away. That honesty is the foundation of every relationship we have.”
— Gareth Sampson
Not a platform, not an agent. Gareth has personal relationships with manufacturers across China built through decades of repeat business, factory visits, and honest dealing.
Our locally-based QC team inspects every bespoke order at the factory before it ships. You receive a full inspection report. No surprises when the container arrives.
No buying agents, no unnecessary intermediary margin. Because we go direct to the manufacturer, clients consistently receive pricing that UK competitors sourcing via agents simply cannot match.
We tell you the truth about production and shipping timelines — including when we can't meet a deadline. We'd rather lose an order than make a promise we can't keep.
Share your brief — product type, quantity, branding requirements, deadline, and budget. No brief is too vague; we'll ask the right questions to get it right.
We accept briefs via our form, email, or a simple call with Gareth. Most clients are surprised how quickly we can give an initial steer.
Gareth and the sourcing team draw on 25+ years of factory relationships across China to identify the right manufacturer for your specific product and quality tier.
We work with factories across Yiwu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo, and beyond — each vetted over years of repeated orders, not a platform listing.
Before any bulk production is committed, we request physical samples and provide you with a detailed digital proof. You sign off, or we revise.
Our in-China team coordinates sample production and can handle multiple rounds of revision before you see the final product — saving weeks of back-and-forth.
Once production begins, our locally-based quality testing team conducts inspections at the factory — checking specifications, branding accuracy, and packaging before shipment.
We use a combination of random sampling and full-batch inspection depending on order size and product complexity. You receive a full QC report before goods leave China.
We manage the full logistics chain — export documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and final-mile delivery to your UK address or our Bristol fulfilment centre.
Air, sea, or express courier depending on your timeline and budget. We're transparent about lead times and realistic about timings — no optimistic promises.
Your goods arrive at your door quality-checked, correctly branded, and ready to deploy — whether that's a product launch, event, or fulfilment campaign.
For repeat orders, the factory relationship is already established. Reorders are faster, and pricing often improves with volume history.
If it can be manufactured and branded, we can almost certainly source it. A sample of our most commonly requested product categories:

We respond within one business day. No obligation, no hard sell — just an honest conversation about what's possible.
It depends on the product. Many factories in our network accept MOQs of 250–500 units for standard bespoke items. For highly custom or complex products it may be higher. We'll tell you upfront before any commitment is made.
From brief to UK delivery, typical timescales are 6–10 weeks via sea freight, or 2–3 weeks via air freight for smaller or urgent orders. We'll give you an honest timeline at the briefing stage — not an optimistic one.
Yes — that's exactly what this service is for. If you can describe it, we can almost certainly find the right factory to make it. Gareth's network spans a very wide range of product categories and manufacturing capabilities.
Our QC team is based in China and works directly with our factory partners. For bespoke orders they conduct pre-shipment inspection — checking product dimensions, branding accuracy, material quality, and packaging against your approved spec. You receive a written QC report and, where relevant, photos before goods are released.
If our QC team identifies non-conformance, production is held at source and remedied before shipping — not after it's landed in the UK. We negotiate this accountability directly with factories as part of our supplier agreements.
Yes. We manage export documentation, customs clearance, HS code classification, duty calculation, and all freight forwarding. You don't need to deal with the logistics complexity — that's our job.
Always. No bespoke order goes to bulk production without your sign-off on a physical or digital sample. Sample lead times vary by product but are typically 7–14 days from factory.
Submit a brief and Gareth's team will come back to you with an honest answer — what's possible, at what price, and by when. No commitment required.
